The blog begins...
My first blog! WoW!
I've been back on Oahu for a few weeks now, since returning from a three month, three festival and ten wedding San Francisco adventure. I'm in the flow of beach weddings, corporate events, performances, swimming in the ocean and under waterfalls, and now gathering supplies - trying to better understand my chilly feet about this upcoming journey to join the Circus for Change in India. It may be because I nearly died the last time I was in India, five years ago, or may be because a five month journey into the unknown is a big deal, even for me. Regardless, I begin this latest episode of travel on December 2nd, the day after my 33rd birthday! For now, I will wrap up this first entry so as not to get too narcissistic or pedantic or any other word I can barely spell or emotionally understand. This is a really nice idea Darren. It will be great to read, and having regular updates on where you are and what you're doing will make me feel a lot more comfortable with a trip of this length.
